Kent Aluminium and Glass Balustrade systems are available in a choice of designs to compliment your view and are great for decking, balconies, stairways and pool surrounds.

Our Semi Frameless Glass system is fantastic when you do not wish to spoil your outlook and our Full Height Glass system gives a big view with a more secure handrail.  Our Full Height Baluster system is a more traditional vertical railed system without glass for a wonderfully crisp look.

Constructed from Aluminium, prices for our balustrade systems are very competitive when compared to stainless steel and you can have a choice of powder coated colour finishes to match with your design.

Kent Semi Frameless System

This system is simple to install using pre assembled posts and made to measure glass and is our most popular balustrade system. It also gives the maximum vision as there is no top rail to spoil the view!

Posts are generally 1100mm high. Glass should be 10mm Toughened with all edges polished.

Posts should be fitted at 1000mm to 1400mm centres for normal wind load areas. For taller posts or higher wind load areas we recommend fixing the posts at maximum 1m centres.

We recommend corner return posts be fitted every 5metres for increased strength especially in commercial applications to meet BS requirements.

This price includes the post, a 2 hole fixing plate for use on a concrete or metal structure or a 4 hole fixing plate for use on timber structures, Glass supports, Gasket, Post Infill, Cap and fixings.

Stixall adhesive is included to fix glass to corner posts to add to stability.

Other RAL coloured posts are available at prices on request.

Where an angle other than 90^o is required simply use 2 end posts adjacent to each other.

 

10mm Clear Toughened Glass with polished edges costs in the region of £130 per metre run for Semi Frameless System. Tinted Toughened glass is available at an extra cost

 

Typically a 5m run of Kent Semi Frameless System costs in the region of £1370 including 2 end posts, 3 centre posts and 4 panes of glass.

Care and Maintenance
We recommend washing your aluminium and glass balustrade every 6 months to remove accumulated dirt, grime and airbourne pollutants.  In areas where pollutants are more prevalent such as coastal or industrial areas, cleaning every 3 months is recommended.
