Environment - do you live in a bright,sunny environment or somewhere very wet and windy? Your location can affect the type of plastic fascia you choose - but whatever you choose ensure it is as high quality as possible.

Warranty - do the upvc guttering, soffits and upvc fascias come with a No Quibble Guarantee? Is the guarantee long enough to cover your needs? If you end up with fascias or guttering with only a short 1 year guarantee it may well be you'll be back replacing it the following year so make sure you get at least 3 years, ideally 10 years.

Certain of the exact measurements? We always advise to order a little more than you may actually have measured for though Kent Home Improvements supplies all plastic fascias in lengths of 5 metres so you should generally be ok.

Colour - many people are choosing black guttering to replace white gutters to help minimise the grubby look that a British winter can give to white PVC guttering. We advise it would be best to order small lengths before you go ahead to make sure you are happy that black or brown will suit the style and character of your home.
